Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Software Quality Specialist. This position involves supporting a mobile banking application enhancement project, focusing on test automation, framework development, and quality assurance to ensure high standards for customer-facing digital solutions. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering reliable, efficient, and secure mobile banking services.
Pay rate range (CAD): $62.88/hr – $75.4hr
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on testing activities, including test case creation and support for automation frameworks.
- Develop and enhance automation scripts using Java, Selenium, and related tools.
- Support the delivery of quality solutions within project timelines.
- Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to address testing challenges.
- Maintain and update testing documentation and processes.
- Assist in onboarding and knowledge transfer for new team members.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Skill-Set
- 8+ years of experience in software testing using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting.
- Experience with manual testing and automation support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
Nice to Have
- Java programming, Selenium, and Appium certifications.
- Experience with banking or financial services projects.
- Knowledge of Appium for mobile testing.
- Familiarity with testing mobile banking applications.
- Experience working in agile environments or with cross-functional teams.
