Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Quantitative IT Project Manager – Modeling and Analytics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver impactful business insights within a dynamic financial environment. The role involves managing complex projects focused on data visualization, reporting, and analytics, supporting senior stakeholders, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics and reporting projects using Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization tools.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring timely completion within scope.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and security in reporting solutions.
- Drive the design and implementation of data dashboards and reports that deliver insights to business units.
- Facilitate regular project stand-ups, status updates, and stakeholder meetings.
- Identify risks and issues proactively, developing mitigation strategies.
- Support change management and adoption strategies for new analytics tools and processes.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting for executive-level review.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
Desired Skill-Set
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management within the financial services industry.
- Proven expertise in Data Analytics, Visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and financial products.
- Hands-on experience with Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-departmental efforts and leading virtual teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other data scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools.
- Knowledge of data governance and security protocols.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and data warehouses.
- Understanding of GenAI tools and advanced analytics technologies.
