Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Risk & Finance Technology Consultant/Capital Markets . This position involves driving high-impact technology evaluations and guiding enterprise-level decisions within Capital Markets, Treasury, and Risk Management, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence future project directions.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive technology assessments, including current state analysis, future state envisioning, gap analysis, and architecture reviews.
- Engage and build trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across Capital Markets, Treasury, and Risk.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and architectures, with particular focus on emerging technologies like Generative AI.
- Apply deep expertise in risk, treasury, and finance systems to inform technology investment strategies and platform modernization efforts.
- Develop and drive technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities, balancing immediate needs with long-term goals.
- Identify opportunities for innovation by leveraging emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, risk visibility, and financial reporting.
Desired Skill-Set
- 15+ years of experience in technology consulting or related fields, with proven leadership in enterprise-scale assessments.
- Extensive domain expertise in risk management, treasury, and finance technology (10+ years).
- Hands-on experience with QRM, WKFS, Regnology (5+ years).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to translate complex concepts into business insights.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, particularly Generative AI, and their application in finance.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Banking or financial services background, with experience in related roles.
- Familiarity with regulatory and operational nuances within Capital Markets.
- Demonstrated soft skills including trust, teamwork, and accountability.
