Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr.Business Consultant/Capital Markets/T+1 Initiative. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support large-scale analytics and reporting initiatives within the Capital Markets Trade Servicing and Product Control groups, focusing on the UK T+1 initiative. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders, develop Power BI dashboards, and contribute to continuous process improvements, delivering impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for the UK T+1 initiative.
  • Facilitate discussions to define business logic, data definitions, and key success metrics.
  • Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design, test, and implement data views, datasets, and reporting solutions.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to maintain report accuracy.
  • Design and enhance Power BI dashboards to support governance, tracking, and operational monitoring.
  • Support project lifecycle activities including planning, testing, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop innovative reporting solutions to improve analytics, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Promote adoption of enterprise reporting tools and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and core projects within the analytics and reporting team.

Desired Skill-Set

  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 3–7 years of experience in business analysis, analytics, reporting, consulting, or project delivery.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating business needs into reports.
  • Strong data analysis, validation, and dashboard creation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of reporting, analytics, and business intelligence concepts.
  • Experience supporting large transformation or regulatory projects is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Project coordination and execution experience.

Nice to Have

  • Capital Markets, Operations, Trade Servicing, Settlement, or T+1 domain knowledge.
