Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Project Manager. This position involves overseeing medium to large-scale finance projects, including enterprise SAP and PeopleSoft systems, delivering strategic solutions that impact core business functions. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge SAP platforms such as S/4HANA FICO, MDG, and Group Reporting, with high visibility among senior stakeholders and leadership. The position follows a hybrid work model, providing both office and remote flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects within scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular status updates to leadership
- Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, risks, issues, and change requests
- Analyze business requirements and technical solutions, providing actionable recommendations
- Track and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and financial impacts
- Ensure compliance with enterprise project governance standards and SDLC practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, technology, vendors, and consulting partners
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and decision-making sessions with stakeholders at all levels
Desired Skill-Set
- 8–10+ years of project management experience in technology delivery
- Proven expertise managing PeopleSoft Financials and/or SAP projects, preferably S/4HANA FICO, MDG, or Group Reporting
- Experience in finance or financial systems delivery
- Strong track record managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies and SDLC
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA FICO, MDG, and Group Reporting
- General accounting process knowledge
- Banking or financial services industry background
- Soft skills including excellent communication, relationship-building, and influence
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced and evolving environments
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
