Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Wealth Planning Quality Analyst. The position involves reviewing completed financial plans to verify they meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. It offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or professionals transitioning from full-time to part-time work to gain valuable experience within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $40.41/hr – $45.50/hr

Responsibilities

  • Review completed financial plans against predefined quality standards, controls, and assessment criteria
  • Evaluate plans for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to sound financial planning principles
  • Identify errors, gaps, risks, and areas for improvement; document findings clearly and consistently
  • Ensure all financial plans comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks
  • Track, analyze, and report quality review outcomes, trends, and recurring issues to foster continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with team members and internal partners to clarify expectations and support quality objectives
  • Promote a culture of quality, attention to detail, and accountability within the wealth planning process

Desired Skill-Set

  • Post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Financial planning experience through advisory, technical, or planning support roles
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), PFP®, or QAFP® designation
  • Strong understanding of core financial planning concepts (retirement, cash flow, investments, insurance, estate, tax)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to evaluate complex information accurately
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and judgment skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply criteria objectively and consistently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and providing feedback
  • Persuasive communication skills for virtual meetings with front-line planners
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Teams) and financial planning software
  • Bilingual in French
