Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an L&D Coordinator – Banking. This position involves supporting large-scale, strategic learning programs within a dynamic banking environment, combining data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination to enhance staff development and organizational growth.

Pay rate range (CAD): $43.55/hr – $52.26/hr

Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment of large-scale L&D programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and talent management initiatives.
  • Analyze learning data, generate insights, and present findings in clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
  • Coordinate program logistics, enrollments, attendance tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage LMS requests, partner with vendors and internal teams to define and approve system specifications.
  • Assist with managing learning initiatives, tracking progress, and resolving issues related to course delivery and registration.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of learning processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Contribute to quarterly learning reviews, budget tracking, and reporting on program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, vendors, and Centers of Excellence to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Escalate risks, issues, and high-priority concerns to appropriate leadership for action.

Desired Skill-Set

  • 7-10 years of experience in Learning & Development within a corporate environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored for executive presentations.
  • Demonstrated project management experience overseeing medium to large initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging internal teams and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, performance consulting, and LMS systems.
  • Self-starter with proactive initiative-taking and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • L&D or Adult Education certifications.
  • Experience with LMS platforms and related tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
  • Prior experience working within banking or financial services organizations.
  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies and reporting frameworks.
