Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Financial Data Analyst – Power BI/Power Automate/Banking. This position involves supporting portfolio management by ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and usability of financial data, enabling strategic decision-making through advanced reporting and system enhancements.
Pay rate range (CAD): $36.23/hr – $43.48/hr
Responsibilities
- Assist with and resolve SharePoint and Power Apps requests to support business needs
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and automation projects to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities
- Conduct technical investigations and resolve complex system issues efficiently
- Validate funding requests and review contractual documentation
- Maintain and improve financial data structures and repositories for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Develop and enforce data governance standards in collaboration with Finance, IT, and Business Enablement teams
Desired Skill-Set
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Power Automate
- Minimum 3 years' experience with SharePoint
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Power Apps
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Power BI
- Strong communication skills for clear collaboration and reporting
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within software systems
- Skilled in debugging, root cause analysis, and implementing reliable solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage priorities in a high-volume environment
- Positive mindset coupled with flexibility and adaptability
Nice to Have
- Experience as a financial analyst or in business management roles
- Support or development experience with financial systems
- SQL or database management experience
- Knowledge of programming languages or additional technical backgrounds
