Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Pega Business Analyst-CSA/CPBA. This position offers a unique opportunity to support high-profile projects within Distribution Technology, working with modern business process management solutions and engaging directly with key stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate will define, document, and deliver requirements for enterprise-scale Agile projects utilizing Pega-based solutions, contributing to initiatives that enhance client acquisition and sales channels.
Pay rate range (CAD): $68.84/hr – $82.61/hr
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and discovery sessions with business stakeholders
- Analyze current and future state business processes and workflows
- Create user stories, process maps, use cases, and functional specifications
- Manage and maintain Agile backlogs in Jira
- Collaborate with Product Owners on prioritization and sprint planning activities
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Work closely with Pega developers and solution architects to ensure requirements are accurately implemented
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and requirement clarification throughout project delivery
- Support SIT and UAT activities including defect triage and resolution
- Ensure traceability between business requirements, user stories, and solutions
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend innovative solutions
Desired Skill-Set
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Senior Business Analyst in large enterprise environments
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile delivery teams
- 3+ years of experience with Pega platforms
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation and documentation
- Skilled in process mapping and workflow analysis
- Proven stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience supporting UAT and SIT testing in financial services or banking settings
- Proficiency in Jira and Agile project tools
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have
- Pega Business Architect (CPBA) certification
- Pega System Architect (CSA) certification
- Prior experience within major Canadian financial institution
- Knowledge supporting Distribution, Retail Banking, Cards, Lending, or Client Acquisition projects
- PMP certification
- Understanding of APIs and digital integration projects
- Confluence experience
- Strong soft skills including influencing, collaboration, analytical thinking, and organizational ability
