Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a PMO Analyst-Banking. This position involves supporting the end-to-end intake, prioritization, and governance of initiatives across Lending and Treasury & Payment Solutions, with broad exposure to executive decision-making and process improvement opportunities.

Pay rate range (CAD): $50.72/hr – $60.87/hr

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the end-to-end integrated intake process ensuring requests are complete and ready for review
  • Coordinate intake assessments, stakeholder reviews, and prioritization activities with business and delivery teams
  • Track request statuses, decisions, outcomes, and progression through the intake pipeline
  • Prepare governance materials, including presentations, agendas, decision logs, and action tracking
  • Support governance forums, prioritization sessions, and executive decision-making processes
  • Define reporting requirements, validate outputs, and deliver portfolio analysis and insights
  • Provide demand, capacity, and performance data to support decision-making and process improvements
  • Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and initiative health
  • Assist with resource planning, capacity forecasting, and portfolio planning activities
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine and enhance intake, prioritization, governance, and reporting processes
  • Maintain portfolio repositories, tools, and documentation ensuring data integrity and transparency
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the intake and prioritization operating model

Desired Skill-Set

  • 4-7 years of experience in portfolio management, PMO, project coordination, or related functions
  • Proven experience supporting governance forums, portfolio reviews, and prioritization processes
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with problem-solving capabilities
  • Skilled in preparing executive reports, dashboards, and presentations
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and process adherence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, PowerApps, Clarity, ServiceNow, Power BI or similar platforms

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience within financial services or a banking environment
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting a PMO or portfolio management in a FI environment
  • Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with intake, governance, demand management, and strategic planning practices
  • Certification such as PMP, Scrum Master, or similar
