Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Associate. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that manages back-office estate processing and operational tasks within a leading financial institution. The role involves supporting client-facing representatives, processing estate files, executing money movements, and meeting strict service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong background in banking or finance, ready to contribute to operational excellence.
Pay rate (CAD): 17.60/hr – $24.88/hr
Responsibilities
- Support front-end client interactions by processing estate files and money movements
- Fulfill daily requests within established SLAs while managing complex cases
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain knowledge of banking products and processing procedures
- Follow bank policies and audit standards to ensure compliance
- Document and escalate risks or issues as needed
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Adapt to changes in policies, procedures, and technology tools
- Support a positive customer experience and uphold service quality standards
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-4 years of banking and financial experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365: Word, Outlook, Excel
- Data entry experience with high accuracy
- Prior experience meeting SLAs
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability to changing policies and workloads
- Knowledge of MM and FX products (e.g., options, foreign exchange spots and forwards, money market deposits and loans)
Nice to Have
- Estate files processing experience
- Experience with global trading platforms or WSS platform
