Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a BIM (Building Information Modeling) Technician. This position involves creating and maintaining accurate, data-rich 3D models using Autodesk Revit, supporting the modernization project within a dynamic team environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $31.07/hr – $37.28/hr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update Revit BIM models representing as-built and existing conditions based on drawings, scans, and field information
  • Convert 2D drawings, PDFs, and sketches into detailed 3D models
  • Populate models with asset data, including room names, equipment types, and materials
  • Generate construction documents such as plans, elevations, sections, and schedules from BIM models
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and modeling standards compliance
  • Maintain consistent project file organization, naming conventions, and model structure
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback and markups to ensure model fidelity
  • Stay informed about BIM standards and best practices to support project quality and consistency

Desired Skill-Set

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCAD
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with asset tagging, parameters, and metadata management within Revit
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative approach

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working on large-scale organizational BIM projects
  • Knowledge of asset management systems or facilities management processes
  • Experience with field data collection or scanning technologies
  • Understanding of architectural or MEP systems and their modeling requirements
