Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Learning & Development Project Manager/Banking. This position involves leading mid- to high-complexity L&D projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment, supporting various training initiatives that drive organizational growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the overall portfolio and program movement across business lines, aligning projects with long-term business priorities
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of medium-to-high complexity L&D projects using project management tools
  • Support vendor selection, engagement, and onboarding processes for third-party learning solutions
  • Design and implement stakeholder engagement strategies for internal and external partners
  • Build and maintain regular communications with stakeholders at various levels
  • Report project progress to teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Collaborate with L&D Centers of Excellence and business partners on strategy, communications, and delivery plans
  • Actively manage risks and issues, implementing governance controls to ensure project integrity
  • Conduct post-project retrospectives and incorporate lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Stay current with emerging trends in project management, including Agile and hybrid methodologies
  • Share subject matter expertise within the broader project management community to support professional growth

Desired Skill-Set

  • 5-7 years of project management experience in L&D, with a focus on training or adult learning environments
  • Proven experience managing medium-to-high complexity projects
  • Strong expertise in project management tools, particularly MS Project and MS Office Suite
  • Solid background in Learning & Development, including designing and developing training content
  • Experience working in banking, financial services, or insurance sectors
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience working within the banking industry
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP)
  • Experience with eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline or Articulate Rise
  • Certification in PMP, Agile, or Scrum
  • Background in performance consulting, design, or facilitation within L&D
