Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Analyst, Infrastructure Management. You will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Operations and Networks team, providing technical leadership and support for enterprise scheduling tools and related infrastructure. In this position, you will drive standards, support critical projects, and ensure the stability and security of scheduling and file transfer services, contributing to the overall efficiency and security of the organization’s technology operations.
Pay rate range (CAD): $76.73/hr – $92.08/hr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise scheduling solutions such as AutoSys and IBM Workload Scheduler.
- Provide Level 3 support for scheduling tools and resolve complex incidents or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop standards and best practices for hardware and software deployment.
- Contribute to governance initiatives, including policy development and audit requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging products and techniques to improve scheduling and file transfer services.
- Support and optimize security infrastructure related to scheduling and transfer services.
- Participate in technical assessments, cost estimates, and solution design for new initiatives.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Linux OS, scripting languages (Python, VB, Shell), and automation tools (Ansible).
- Assist in supporting ServiceNow workflows and integrating other technology tools as needed.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience with AutoSys, SecureTransport, and enterprise scheduling tools.
- Proficiency in Windows OS and Linux environment management.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, and VB.
- Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Access, and Excel.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure is a plus).
- Working experience within an Agile framework.
- Better if experienced with IBM Workload Scheduler or CTRL M.
- Strong understanding of IT standards, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of other enterprise scheduling products such as IBM Workload Scheduler or CTRL M.
- Skills in additional scripting languages or automation tools.
- Prior experience working in financial services or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks.
