Sr. Security Analyst – Identity and Access Management

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Security Analyst – Identity and Access Management. In this position, you will play a critical part in supporting IAM processes, automating controls, and delivering insightful reporting to enhance security and compliance within a major organization.
Pay rate range (CAD): $66.83/hr – $80.19/hr
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) processes to strengthen access control framework
- Automate manual IAM workflows using Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide risk insights and support audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IAM controls, security policies, and compliance standards
- Investigate operational issues related to IAM and recommend solutions to optimize security posture
- Assist in regulatory compliance activities and support internal and external audits
- Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-based access controls and governance solutions
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging security trends in identity management
Desired Skill-Set
- Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and controls
- Hands-on experience with IGA solutions and cloud access controls (Azure, AWS)
- 3-5+ years in information security, IAM, or governance roles
- Proficiency with Power Apps, Power Automate, VBA, Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL/Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, SAS)
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables
Nice to Have
- Experience with SailPoint, Workday, or ServiceNow
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma)
- Knowledge of infrastructure access controls
- Strong automation skills and a continuous improvement mindset
