Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Technical BSA – API. This position involves working on critical IT projects within a dynamic team, providing analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement to support project success.
Pay rate range (CAD): $65.00/hr – $72.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Elicit and facilitate requirements gathering from business stakeholders and BAs.
- Write detailed user stories, API documentation, and sequence diagrams.
- Document technical solutions clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with product owners, BAs, and technical teams to ensure alignment.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Provide deep analytical thinking and meaningful insights beyond automated tools.
- Support the documentation of SSO and API-related processes for project Odyssey.
- Participate in in-person panel interviews and contribute to project planning.
Desired Skill-Set
- 5-7 years of strong Business Systems Analysis experience.
- Proven expertise in requirements elicitation and facilitation.
- Skilled at writing user stories, API documentation, and sequence diagrams.
- Ability to ask the right questions to stakeholders and BAs.
- Experience in core banking environments (strongly preferred).
- Solid background working in Agile frameworks.
- Ability to document technical solutions with clarity.
- Excellent communication and soft skills; engaging with business stakeholders effectively.
- Accessibility experience (nice-to-have).
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with SSO and API documentation.
- Knowledge of core banking systems.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Past involvement in multi-disciplinary teams in the financial services sector.
