Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Agile Delivery Manager – Data/Cloud Migration. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of two Agile pods within a large enterprise environment, focusing on cloud migration and modernization initiatives. This opportunity offers a chance to influence strategic projects, coach teams, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach two Agile delivery teams to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
- Mentor Product Owners on backlog prioritization, maximizing business value, and Agile best practices.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to manage dependencies and delivery commitments.
- Identify and resolve delivery risks, issues, and blockers proactively across teams.
- Address external dependencies impacting timelines and work towards seamless coordination.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies effectively.
- Track project progress and team performance using Agile metrics and JIRA.
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and provide risk updates for leadership and stakeholders.
- Support release planning and operational readiness activities.
- Assist with financial tracking, estimates, and project documentation management.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience leading large-scale data migration, cloud transformation, or modernization programs.
- Strong ability to coach and influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent facilitation skills for Agile ceremonies and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Agile tools, particularly JIRA, for tracking and reporting.
- Exceptional risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage scope, timelines, and dependencies in complex environments.
- Experience working within enterprise-scale projects, preferably in financial services.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in enterprise technology modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and migration strategies.
- Prior experience working with large cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with operational readiness and release management processes.
